Camp Kerry’s Vancouver Island Youth Retreat
Since 2007, the Camp Kerry Society has successfully served thousands of individuals and families through our unique bereavement retreat program, “Camp Kerry”. We currently run Camp Kerry Retreats for families and youth.
Our youth retreats have occurred at various locations across Canada, and we are excited to be offering one on Vancouver Island for the very first time! We will be collaborating with a number of Hospice Organizations and other service providers throughout the Island so that we may serve the unique needs of each community better.
The Island Youth Retreat will be an opportunity for youth impacted by serious illness, grief and loss to find a sense of connection, healing and hope.
Vancouver Island Youth Retreat
Something For Everyone!
On our youth retreats one can expect to participate in a variety of activities that are intended to assist in the healthy processing of grief. Some of these include; Art Therapy, Music Therapy, Peer Support Groups, Adventure Challenges and more.
Perhaps the greatest asset one will receive through attendance of this retreat is a network of peer support – “friends”. Essentially, these supports can become lifelines that will last for years and help during the toughest of times.
